Break
Away Kit |
Trailer break-away
kits are a legal requirement in most states for
towing trailers with electric brakes. With CEI’s
trailer brake-away kit, you can have peace of mind
that you and your equipment will be safe in the
event of a trailer separation. The system works
by triggering your electric brakes on your trailer
upon separation from your tow vehicle. Furthermore,
with 2 electrical wire connections a pull wire connection
and a one bolt installation process, fitting is
quick and simple. Weather you mount the kit on a
jackpost or on an A-frame, there is no need for
cutting or drilling. It is simply that easy. For
durability, our rust proof high impact polymer case
protects the 12V sealed (gel cell) rechargeable
lead acid battery from elements and corrosion. |

Jacks |
We currently offer
A-frame and Swivel Jacks for trailers in the 2000
lb. category. The A-frame jacks offer smooth cranking,
long life, high strength tubing, more travel with
less cranking, a foldaway handle and a heavy duty
A-Frame plate. The swivel jacks swing parallel with
the tongue in either direction to provide easy storage.
A spring-loaded lock pin secures the square mount
jack in either the up or down position. We also
offer safety chains which are corrosion resistant
chrome plated to assure long life and durability. |

Safety

safety chains and safety cables that exceed SAE
classes 1 (2,000 lbs), 2 (3,500), and 3 (5,000).
These come in custom lengths or numerous standard
lengths that you require.
Chains: For convince and your customers needs, our
factories offer both, a standard chain or a zinc
plated chain. They also offer numerous end hook
styles such as an S-hook or D-hook patterns. In
addition, all hooks are available with spring loaded
safety snap clips for added safety and to satisfy
sate law requirements.
Cables: If you are tired of noisy chain clattering
then CEI offers a full range of safety cable to
meet your needs. All safety cables come pre-tensioned
to avoid potential chain dragging and it helps keep
the hooks attached to hitch. They are also offered
in both vinyl coated and non coated versions depending

Torsion
Arm Forging |

torsion arm forgings to its rapidly growing line
of trailer components. Torsion arm suspensions provide
improved suspension characteristics relative to
leaf spring axles through the unique arrangement
of a steel torsion bar surrounded by rubber encased
